The purpose of the association artbellwald.ch is:

• to invite artists from home and abroad to come and work in Bellwald in the fields of painting, sculpture, film and video art, literature, composition, architecture, industrial or fashion design, and to motivate them with an attractive infrastructure.
• to support Bellwald and other communities in the upper Valais in the establishment and operation of a regional centers for artistic creation and to promote the expansion of the already very active cultural life in the Valais.
• to collect works from artists who were active in Bellwald and elsewhere in the upper Valais and one day present these works to the local population and increase the attractiveness of the region for the guests.
