Welcome to the website of the association artbellwald.ch in Bellwald, a mountain village which lies in the Goms, in the upper Rhone Valley.

There are many inspiring places in the Alps which stimulate creativity. Bellwald, the Goms, indeed the whole Canton of Valais are part of it.
The association artbellwald.ch invites artists from home and abroad to come and work in the fields of painting, sculpture, film and video art, literature, composition, architecture, industrial or fashion design, for between 2 and 4 months and provides them with a suitable studio in a converted old barn as well as a furnished studio. The artists will also receive a monthly scholarship of SFr. 1’500.–.
