On Friday, May 8, 2015 the open day of the photographer Maralgua Badarch from Mongolia took place at the Kirchenstadel in Bellwald. The artist showed many beautiful photos as well as a video. Besides very nice views from the Valais, Mrs. Badarch mixed Mongolian music with Swiss music in the video. Two persons tell a story, one in a dialect, called patois from the Val d’Anniviers, the other one in the old Bellwald dialect.

Even though there are not many tourists in Bellwald at this time of the year, the afternoon was well attended. A lot of inhabitants of Bellwald came to admire the photos and the video and they had the opportunity to chat with the artist, whom they had the already seen in the village.  Thank you to everybody who contributed to this pleasant afternoon.
